The farm house Villanovia lays on the Batazzone hills at the southern margins of the Natural Park of Berignone.
Originally served as a warehouse and guard tower, this farm house was part of the agricultural properties of the local Bishops, as written in the registers of the 17° century.
Villanovia is a fully renovated country property surrounded by a 360° amazing panorama. It overlooks the Cecina valley, the cities of Volterra and Pomarance, the Metallic Hills and Larderello, with its visible geothermic vapors.
The house sleeps 16 (+5 extra beds/futon for 6) in large and comfortable rooms or in cosy apartments equipped with a private kitchen corner. The 17th century ground floor entrance (all in stone) is the most ancient part of the house. Here you have a sofa area with satellite TV and indoor stairs to the upper floor where 6 accommodations are located, as well as a terrace overlooking Volterra.
Perfectly located for total relax vacation, at the same time offers short rides to the cities of Volterra (9Km), Pisa, Siena (about 60Km each), San Gimignano and Florence, as well as the Etruscan Coast beaches (45Km).
